Mr. Issa bin Abdullah Al-Hitmi, General Manager of Al-Kass Sports Channels, revealed the organization of the first edition of the Alkass Padel Tournament set to begin during the holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Hitmi explained that the tournament will be organized in cooperation with the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation as well as the 1969 Fitness Hub.
He added that the competitions will be held at 1969 fitness hub’s stadiums, as teams will be divided into 4 categories (A-B-C-D).
He also indicated that the total value of the tournament prize money will amount to 500,000 Qatari riyals.
All players must be vaccinated at least 14 days before the start of the event
Preventive measures include physical and social distancing, covering coughs and sneezes, washing hands and the use of face masks.
Fees: 500 QR per team - 250 QR per player / subject to terms and conditions
