Qatar Olympic Committee
The Qatari beach handball team will take on Philippines in the beginning of their campaign at the eighth Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championship, which will be held in Tehran, Iran from March 22 to 28.
Besides hosts Iran and defending champions Qatar, Oman, Vietnam, the Philippines and India are participating in the event.
Qatar will start its campaign against the Philippines on March 22 and will face Oman on the following day. Team Qatar will meet India in their third match on March 25 before taking on Vietnam the next day. Qatar will face hosts Iran in their last match on March 28.
Teams securing the top two positions in the continental event will qualify for the World Championships in Greece.
Qatar were crowned champions in China in 2019, after a 2-0 win over Oman in the final.
