Qatar’s senior football team is all set to shake hands with Chile in a second international friendly in the Austrian capital city of Vienna on Tuesday.
A group of 30 players is part of Qatar’s final preparations for more than three months, which included a training camp in Spain besides the ongoing camp in Austria.
After the friendlies, the Qatar squad will briefly return home and will hold an open training session on October 2. They will return to Spain for more isolation before the World Cup starts.
Team Qatar will kick off their World Cup campaign with their first Group A match against Ecuador in the tournament’s opening game on November 20 at Al Bayt Stadium.
