Qatar's beach volleyball team duo, Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, qualified for the final of the 2021 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Sochi Open, after overcoming their Dutch opponents 2 sets to 1 this morning.
The Sochi tournament is the fifth of six International Volleyball Federation Beach Volleyball World Tour four-star events offering Olympic ranking points. A total of 62 teams from 27 countries are taking part in the tournament.
The final will take place later today at 3:45pm Doha time, where the team will face Poland after their victory over Italy.
