QMMF President: Doha Provided a Special Experience in Hosting Formula 1

The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) President, Abdulrahman Al Mannai, confirmed that Doha provided a distinguished experience in organizing Formula 1 races, after hosting the twentieth round of the World Championship at the Losail International Circuit under the floodlights. 

Al Mannai, praised the efforts made by the concerned parties and regulators to make the race, which concluded Sunday at Losail International Circuit, a success. 

The QMMF President, said that nearly 80,000 fans came this weekend to enjoy the most famous car race for the first time in Qatar, the first out of 11 races according to the agreement signed with Formula 1, and it is only the beginning of the upcoming races and exciting events. 

For his part, the Director of Public Relations at Ooredoo, Sabah Rabia Al Kuwari, confirmed that Qatar has made great strides in the field of organizing and hosting major sporting events, which is something that is widely witnessed . 

Al Kuwari said in a press statement that Ooredoo are keen to provide support and assistance to various events at the local, regional and international levels, including enhancing Qatar's position in various forums, and Ooredoo are very proud to be part of the team that contributed to bringing the Formula 1 race to Qatar for the first time. 

Al Kuwari added that Ooredoo are proud to cooperate with the QMMF and all national federations in Qatar, and the Formula 1 Ooredoo Qatar Grand Prix 2021 is only a promising start for organizing more mass tournaments and strengthening Qatar's position in this field among the countries of the world.
