Qatari golfer Saleh Al Kaabi has qualified to participate in the PIF Saudi International Golf Championship, which will be held in Jeddah from Feb. 3 to 6, with the participation of elite players from around the world.
Al Kaabi qualified for the tournament after he came in second place in the qualifiers held in Abu Dhabi amongst professional and amateur golfers.
Fellow Qatari national team player Ali Al Shahrani also participated in the qualifiers, however was unsuccessful in obtaining one of the two qualification tickets.
Al Kaabi recently finished third in the Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship for the 2021/2022 season, which concluded on Jan. 22.
