Al-Rayyan and Al-Ahli teams will play on Thursday, in the quarter-finals of the 40th Arab Club Volleyball Championship for men, which is hosted by Tunisia until next Saturday. Tomorrow, Al Rayyan will play with the Omani Al-Seeb team, while Al-Ahli will face the Kuwaiti Kazma.
Qatar's Al-Rayyan and Al-Ahli completed the first group stage of the championship for men unbeaten, after winning on Tuesday in the two matches that were held at the end of the second and third groups of the competition.
Al-Rayyan started off strong in the championship and ended their matches in the second group with a dominating full score, ending every match with 3 sets to none score to gain 12 points at the top of the group.
Al-Ahli managed to finish the first stage with three consecutive victories, the last of which was this against the AS Marsa with a score 3-2 (25-19, 25-13, 26 - 28, 16-25, 15-10), to raise its score to eight points at the top of the third group.
