The QFA Issues suspensions and fines to teams following Matchday 19

The Disciplinary Committee of the Qatar Football Association issued a set of decisions after its meeting on Monday, based on the review of the various match reports, and they are as follows:

1 – Al Arabi

Suspension of the player Abdulrahman Al-Diri for two matches (disciplinary suspension) and a fine of 10,000 riyals only, due to uttering “obscene words towards the referee” according to Article No. (4/1/48) of the Disciplinary Regulations.

The incident occurred during the match between Al Arabi and Al Rayyan, in the QNB Stars League competition for the 2021-22 season, which was held on February 19, 2022.

2 – Al Rayyan

Disciplinary warning for Farid Ghulam Mahboub, head of the football at the club, because of unsportsmanlike behavior towards the referee, based on Article No. (1/49) of the Disciplinary Regulations.

3 – Al Shamal

Disciplinary warning due to the delay in the arrival of the players in the corridor leading to the pitch at the start of the match, according to Articles No. (1/8/44) of the Disciplinary Regulations.

4 – Al Khor

Disciplinary warning due to the delay in the arrival of the players in the corridor leading to the pitch at the start of the match, according to Articles No. (1/8/44) of the Disciplinary Regulations.

5- Al Gharafa

Suspension of the player Amro Surag for two matches (technical suspension) in the QNB Stars League competition, and a fine of 5,000 riyals, due to violent play against the opponent during is sides match against Al Wakrah, according to Article No. (2/1/47) of the Disciplinary Regulations.
