Ahmed Al Kuwari emerged triumphant in the cars category during the first round of the Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC) on Saturday. Ahmed Al Muhannadi finished runner-up followed by Abdulla Al Khelaifi.
In the 450CC motorcycles category, Qatar-based Australian Martin Chalmers finished on top, with Mohamed Al Balooshi coming second, while Mishal Al Ghuneim was third.
The overall winners of the cars category in the opening round of Qatar Off-Road Championship 2022, celebrate on the podium with officials during the presentation ceremony.
Mohamed Al Kaabi clinched over 450CC bikes Category. Bader Al Bader came second, followed by Yagoob Azadi. The quads title was won by Emiel Stuckens, followed by Dom Arnoud and Hani Al Noumesi.
The championship, organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), consists of six rounds with the first round was a Baja category while two more rounds will also be Baja category (third and fourth round).
The championship featured 34 drivers from 12 countries including the UAE, Kuwait, Hungary, Russia, Great Britain, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Australia, Belgium and Germany.
