Al Gharafa qualified for the semi-finals of the HH the Amir Football Cup Championship after defeating Qatar SC 2-1 at Hamad Grand Stadium, as part of the quarter-final matches of the tournament.
Amr Serraj put his team Al Gharafa in the lead with a beautiful goal in the 24th minute, Spanish Javier Martinez equalized for Qatar SC in the 56th minute, and Algerian Sofiane Hanni kidnapped the winning goal for Al Gharafa in the 63rd minute.
Al Gharafa qualified for this round after beating Al Kharaitiyat 4-0, while Qatar SC qualified by winning 2-1 over Al Shamal.
The start was strong from both sides, but Al Gharafa was the best party, especially considering the defensive and attacking organization and the good positioning of its players, which made it difficult to reach its goal and closed the ports in front of the players of Qatar SC.
