Qatar national team coach Felix Sanchez announced the squad for the upcoming games against Bulgaria and Slovenia, which will be played during the international break in the month of March.
The list consists of the following 23 players: Akram Afif, Boualem Khoukhi, Pedro Miguel, Saad Al-Sheeb, Tarek Salman, Abdelkarim Hassan, Ali Asad, Mohammed Waad, Meshaal Barsham, Musaab Khidir, Ismail Mohammad, Bassam Al-Rawi, Assim Madibo, Abdullah Al-Ahrak, Karim Boudiaf, Almoez Ali, Abdelrahman Mohammed, Ahmed Alaa, Homam El Amin, Yousuf Hassan, Khaled Muneer, Hazem Ahmed, Nayef Al-Hadhrami
The first friendly will be against Bulgaria on March 26, and then Al Annabi will face Slovenia on March 29.
Our national team’s training camp for the two matches begins on the 19th of this month and continues until the players return to their clubs on March 30th. This period will includes daily training and the two friendly matches.
The two matches come within the preparation programme of the coaching staff, led by Felix Sanchez, for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Sanchez plans to prepare the team in an ideal manner before the start of the World Cup.
Al Annabi has never faced the Bulgarian national team in any friendly or official matches, while they have played Slovenia twice previously.
