Ooredoo has been announced as the Title Sponsor of the first edition of the Al Kass Padel Tournament Ooredoo 2022, set to begin during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Competitors will play for tournament prize money totalling QR 500,000.
The tournament organisation will bring together Ooredoo, Al Kass Sports Channels and the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation to focus on creating a world-class event. The 1969 Padel & More will provide the key venues for the competition, which will take place from April 8 to 17, hosting entrants comprising four categories of teams.
The matches will be broadcast LIVE on Al Kass Sports channels and through their “live streaming feature” online and through the Al Kass application.
The first Al Kass Padel Tournament Ooredoo 2022 will see 120 teams compete.
Category A will include eight teams, category B will include 24 teams, category C 40 teams and category D 48 teams. Cash prizes will be distributed to the winners of the third and fourth places as well.

The sponsorship of Al Kass Padel Tournament Ooredoo 2022 was announced during a press conference held at Ooredoo’s headquarters yesterday and was attended by several senior officials from Ooredoo and Al Kass Sports channels.
