QFA Signs Cooperation Agreement with Cuban Counterpart

Qatar Football Association (QFA) signed a cooperation agreement with its Cuban counterpart to develop bilateral relations.

The agreement was signed by the President of the Qatar Football Association Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, and the President of the Cuban Football Association Oliet Rodriguez.

The agreement is part of QFA's strategy to develop football in Qatar and strengthen its relationship with its counterparts from all federations.

The two sides discussed ways to develop football in the two countries and to cooperate in the future by activating the agreement which will greatly benefit both sides.

The five-year agreement will include an exchange of knowledge and experiences, monitoring and loan programs, capacity building, training camps, and friendly matches, as well as benefiting from the many successful experiences of Qatari football, including Aspire Academy and Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital.

On the other hand, HE President of Qatar Football Association Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani met with President of the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) Abdel-Hakim Al Shalmani. The meeting discussed issues of joint interest and means to develop relations and joint cooperation to serve the football system in the two brotherly countries.
