The fourth edition of the 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament continued for the third day at the Lusail Shooting Range with the participation of more than 500 competitors in both amateur and professional events.
This community tournament is organized under the patronage of HE Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, where competitors are fighting for top finishes in four classes, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Archery.
The pistol and Rifle events (10m) of the fourth edition of the 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament saw impressive results from the women at the Lusail Shooting Range on Thursday.
On day threes pistol and rifle competitions, Maha Said Abdulhai leads the group (C) after she collected (167 points) in pistol event and (139 points) in the rifle event to hit the highest score (306 points), while Huda Hossain Al Yafae came second with (296 points) and the third place went to Aysha Abdulahai with (295 points), Mona Naser Faraj Al Nubi finished in fourth place (274 points) and Lolowa Mohammed Al Buainen took the fifth place ( 264 points).
This tournament aims to discover the most talented elements in the game, develop their skills and help clubs and national teams to achieve a quantum leap in the game, and promote this sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the game rises sharply year by year.
