Qatar's Boularas Places Fifth Place in World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships

Qatari national taekwondo team player Othman Boularas won fifth place in the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships held in South Korea, with the participation of 64 countries.

Boularas participated in the championship competitions in the category of under 40 years, and won fifth place, while the gold medal went to South Korea.

Othman Boularas is now preparing to participate in the Asian Taekwondo Championships to be hosted by South Korea next June, and also to participate in the Asian Games to be held in China next September.

The Qatari player was crowned with two bronze medals in the World Taekwondo Martial Arts Championship (Poomsae), and the World Taekwondo Championship (Poomsae 3 Challenge), organized by the International Federation last November.

The player previously won the gold medal in the World Beach Championship 2018 in Greece, the bronze in the 2019 Asian Championship in Indonesia, and the bronze in the Asian Championship in Lebanon 2020.
