Qatar’s table tennis team left Doha for Jordan to participate in the Wes Asia Table Tennis Championship, which will get underway in the Jordanian capital of Amman on Tuesday.
The tournament brings together, hosts Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq.
The tournament will coincide with a series of significant General Assembly meetings of the West Asia Table Tennis Union and Arab Table Tennis Association.
