Doha, Qatar- Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) will launch a public blood donation campaign at Aspire Park in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), here on Thursday.
The “Donate Blood, Save Life” campaign encourages generous donors to head to HMC’s mobile blood donation unit, situated near ‘Burgeri’ restaurant, between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm to provide blood supplies for Qatar’s hospitals.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, AZF launched an internal two-day campaign urging its employees to take part in the blood donation efforts. A mobile blood donation unit will be available for donors near AZF’s headquarters until the end of the week.
The “Donate Blood, Save Life” campaign is one of the many operations organised by AZF throughout the year as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. These offer various sporting, entertainment, social and cultural activities for people in Qatar.
This campaign also represents another example of AZF’s support for Qatar’s medical organisations and HMC as they seek to provide uninterrupted blood supplies for critical patient needs, and promote a culture of blood donation amongst all members of the community.
