Al Sadd's basketball team defeated hosts Al Nasr of Saudi Arabia 78-77 in their second round match at the West Asia Basketball Super League in Riyadh.
The Wolves are drawn in group B alongside Saudi Arabia's Al Nasr, Kuwait SC of Kuwait and Manama SC of Bahrain.
With the victory, Al Sadd secured their first win of the tournament.
Al Sadd SC is scheduled to host Manama SC in the third round on January 9, while Saudi's Al Nasr will meet with Kuwait club.
