The Iraqi Football Federation, today announced the readiness the Basra International Stadium to host matches of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, scheduled to kick off on Jan. 6, 2023. with the participation of eight Gulf national teams.
According to an official statement issued by the Federation, the Basra International Stadium -one of the two official stadiums hosting the tournament - is fully ready to host the Gulf 25 matches. The federation also published photos showing the stadium's features.
Basra International Stadium and Al Mina Stadium will be the venues of the tournament, which will begin with a match between Iraq and Oman national teams at the Basra Stadium.
Qatar's national team will play in Group B, alongside Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, while the Group A, consists of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Yemen.
