Qatar bowling team qualified for the World Bowling Championship - Kuwait 2023 following their impressive performances at the 26th edition of the Asian Bowling Championship for men in Hong Kong, which concluded yesterday.
Team Qatar finished in the eighth position at the Championship which was the participation of 95 players from 16 countries.
The World Championship will be held from October 9 to 26.
The Qatar national team included Youssef Al Jaber, Jassim Al Muraikhi, Mansour Al Hajri, Ahmed Al Ruwaili, Badr Al Sada and Nasser Al Sahouti.
The delegation participating in the tournament was headed by Saeed Al Hajri, member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Bowling Federation, and also included administrator Khalifa Al Kubaisi and team coach Pedro Mirani.
Apart from Qatar, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Thailand, and Macau also qualified for the World Championship after finishing within the top eight.
