Qatar National Billiards Team will start its campaign on Wednesday in the World Pool Championship 2023 (9 balls) that takes place in Kielce, Poland from Feb. 1-5, with the participation of 128 players representing 46 countries, led by the defending champion American Shane Van Boening.
Ali Al Obaidli and Bashar Hussein will represent Qatar in the world championship competitions. The duo will play on Wednesday the group stage matches in which 64 players will qualify to the knockout round.
Qatari billiards team relies a lot on the experience of Al Obaidly and Hussein to achieve good results in this global event which brings together the most prominent stars at the global level.
