Faleh Suwead Al Ajmi won the Big Tour class in the 11th round of Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour at Al Shaqab yesterday.
The accomplished rider rode 17-year old bay mare Ghana to victory in fine style to finish ahead of Khaled Mohammed Al Emadi astride Little Lord Pezi 2. Cyrine Cherif on her nine-year-old gelding Obama ended up third. Longines Hathab Tour Organising Committee Vice-Chairman Omar Al Mannai awarded the winners. In the Open Class, Mohammed Khalifa Al Baker stood out as best with What A Pleasure. Khalid Mohammed Al Emadi finished second astride Mira V/D Roshoeve while Mohammed Abdullah Juma and Hurry Up came third.
The Future Riders class two phases competition was topped by Ahmed Jassim Al Suwaidi riding Miss Serena. Abdulla Khalid Al Julandani on Ivanhoe was the runner-up.
