The main rounds of the Qatar Promotion Padel tournament kicks off today at the Khalifa International Complex and will continue until Sunday.
Organized by the Qatar Tennis Federation and supervised by the International Padel Federation, the international tournament for men will see the participation of a group of Qatari players, including: Khalid Saadoun Al Kuwari, Abdullah Al Shammari, Mohammed Al Mahmoud and Abdulaziz Al Baker, along with a number of foreign players.
Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Zainal said that the first Promotion Tournament will be held on the courts of the Qatar Tennis Federation in line with the federation's vision to develop the game and increase its popularity, adding that the tournament is of great importance for players who are seeking to make their way towards professionalism as it provides them with an opportunity to improve global rankings, and enables them to participate in higher-ranked tournaments.
