The Katara Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship recently concluded with the F45 team winning the championship cup and a cash prize of QR30,000. The Police Union team finished as runner-up while Anad team emerged in third place and Edge Fitness emerged fourth.
Saif Al Dosari, Deputy Director General of Operations and Director of Human Resources in Katara, crowned and honoured the winning teams of the competition. He also distributed medals and cash prizes to the participating players.
The tournament witnessed, on its closing day, a strong and exciting competition between the participating teams that managed to reach the final qualifiers, where four out of ten teams who reached the semi-finals met and competed for the first positions. The game also included draws for valuable prizes to the audience and fans.
Many of the players participating in the Katara Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship praised the remarkable turnout of the tournament, whether in terms of the teams participating in this version or the presence of the audience and fans who added their enthusiasm and encouragement to the competing teams.
On the other hand, the Katara Electronic Games Championship, which was also held as part of the Katara Ramadan activities has also ended.
Al Dosari likewise honoured the winners of the tournament that was held in Building 18 in Katara. Al Jilani Nizar won the first place, Fadi Al Amin won the second place, while Ibrahim Al Rifai won the third place.
