Organised by the Cultural Village Foundation - Katara, the 9th edition of Senyar Festival, which will take place from May 2 to 5, saw the registration of 55 teams participating in fishing and line fishing competitions.
The Senyar Festival aims to revive the customs and traditions associated with the maritime heritage in the State of Qatar.
The Festival's Organizing Committee held a meeting for the participants in the ninth edition at Building No. 15 in Katara Cultural Village on Sunday.
The meeting reviewed instructions related to the necessity of adhering to the timing of the competitions among others. It also clarified a number of general instructions related to the competition.
