The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced on Friday the launch of tickets for the final match of the Amir Cup, which will feature Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi on Friday, May 12, at 7:00 pm at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
Match tickets are available on the QFA website (tickets.qfa.qa) in three categories: with a value of 10, 30 and 50 Qatari riyals respectively. A single fan can purchase a maximum of 6 tickets, QFA has confirmed.
With regard to the mechanism for purchasing tickets electronically, a Visa or Mastercard must be used to complete the purchase process. In the event of any issue related to the purchase process or for registration, fans can contact: tickets@qfa.qa.
Khalid Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Director of Marketing and Communications, QFA, called on the fans to buy their tickets ‘as soon as possible’ and not to wait until the last moment, given the expected high demand for tickets from the fans of the two popular teams.
Al-Kuwari said: “Various prizes presented by several companies, namely: Blue Diamond Jewellery, Victoria Travel, Al Nahdi Group and Pari Gallery, will be allocated to the fans who will attend the Amir Cup final. Therefore, we invite football-loving fans to enjoy the atmosphere.”
Rashid Al-Khater, Executive Director of Operations for the Amir Cup Final, said the match venue AhmAd Bin Ali Stadium, a 2022 FIFA World Cup venue, is ready to welcome the teams and the fans.
“All operational plans have been put in place to receive the fans. The organizers present in the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium will be at hand to assist the fans and to provide them with all facilities. We are all looking forward to watching an exciting final between Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi on May 12,” he said.
The QFA will allow the possibility of purchasing tickets through dedicated sales outlets across Doha, where kiosks will be opened to sell tickets for Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi fans and to those wishing to attend the final at the headquarters of Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi clubs. Coordination is underway with the management of the two clubs regarding this matter, and an announcement will be made, QFA said.
It is worth noting that Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium hosted the final of the 48th edition, which also brought together Al-Sadd and Al-Arabi. Al-Sadd won the final 2-1.
The stadium, located in the Umm Al-Afai area, which is one of the oldest Qatari settlements and home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club, is inspired by nature and is a man-made marvel. The design of the stadium and the surrounding buildings simulates local culture and traditions, while the exterior facade reflects the ripples of sand dunes. The geometric shapes depict the beauty of the desert, local flora and fauna, as well as local and international trade.
More than 80% of the building materials used for the stadium were from the original stadium that previously occupied the site, while the trees around the old stadium were carefully preserved. Fans visiting the stadium can travel through Doha’s new environmentally friendly metro system, making it a truly sustainable experience.
