Al Duhail won the 2022/2023 Men's Handball League title despite their 30-27 loss on matchday 18 to Al Wakrah on Monday at Al Duhail Sports Hall.
Al Duhail sealed the league title last round after reaching 48 points - the same tally as Al Gharafa, but Al Duhail edged out the competition on goal difference.
Al Gharafa came in second place, followed by Al Rayyan in third place with 46 points.
President of the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) Ahmed Al Shaabi handed the league trophy to Al Duhail captain Ahmed Madadi.
QHA Secretary-General Mohammed Al Mulla crowned Al Duhail players and staff with gold medals. QHA Assistant Secretary Khalifa Al Jassim handed the silver medals to Al Gharafa.
QHA board member Hamad Al Nuaimi handed the bronze medals to Al Rayyan.
Al Duhail captured their fifth league title after winning the 2012/2013, 2017/2018, 2020/2021, and 2021/2022 editions.
