Qatar’s football heavyweights Al Sadd launched their pre-season preparations with a training session at their home turf of Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Head coach Juan Manuel Lillo supervised the training session in presence of club’s top officials including Vice President Engineer Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah and Executive Director Turki Nasser Al Ali.
Al Sadd captain Hassan Al Haydos, seasoned goalkeeper Saad Al Sheeb, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Sayyar, Guilherme Torres and Boualem Khoukhi were among the players, who attended the session.
After the home training camp, Al Sadd will hold their overseas camp in Austria from July 1 to July 19.
The 2023-24 season of the QNB Stars League (QSL) will get underway on August 17 with Al Duhail defending their title.
