Qatar added another victory to its numerous accomplishments in the field of Arabian horse shows as Al Shaqab's horses won a gold and a silver medal during their participation in the Menton Mediterranean & Arab Countries Arabian Horse Championship held in France recently.

The filly “Shahalel Al Shaqab,” daughter of the champion mare “Siwar Al Shaqab,” won the gold medal in the yearling fillies category, securing the first place.

Meanwhile, Ajiana OS won the silver medal in the senior mares category. Al Shaqab horses dazzled the audience with their beauty and exceptional presence.

Al Shaqab, the leading equestrian center, had a remarkable presence in the championship, and its victory reflects the successful breeding program that adheres to the latest international standards.

Prominent figures such as the Personal Representative of H H the Amir H E Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar Olympic Committee President and Chairman of Al Shaqab H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and H E Sheikh Al Qaqa bin Hamad Al Thani attended the championship, demonstrating great support.

Director of Production and Arabian Horse Beauty Department Khaled Al Jehani expressed his happiness with the victory, saying: “We extend our sincere congratulations to Qatar and His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani on this exceptional and wonderful achievement.
