Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) is preparing to host the World Challenge Cup, which will be held in Doha from July 26 to 30 at the Aspire Zone Sports Hall.
As part of its preparations ahead of the tournament, a delegation from the International Volleyball Federation made an inspection tour yesterday to assess the facilities at the Aspire Zone Sports Hall.
The touring delegation also visited the press conference hall, the media center and the fitness training hall. The officials were apprised of the arrangements in a detailed briefing by the QVA official.
The delegation expressed its great satisfaction with the available preparations, including the venues, facilities and hotels that will be allocated for the tournament, which is in accordance with the conditions and regulations followed in hosting of World Championships.
They also showed their confidence in Doha’s ability to organise one of the best editions of the tournament.
