The Referees Committee of the Arab Football Association yesterday announced the list of referees for the King Salman Club Cup matches which included four Qatari referees.
Abdul Rahman Al Jassem and Muhammad Ahmed Al Shammari are the two Qatari referees to officiate matches during the tournament while Taleb Al Marri and Saud Ahmed will serve as assistant referees.
The King Salman Club Cup will start on July 27 and will continue until August 12, and its competitions will be held in the cities of Taif, Abha and Al Baha in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
QNB Stars League giants Al Sadd will represent Qatar in the tournament.
They are in Group B of the tournament where they will play against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, Morocco’s Wydad AC and Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya.
