Doha, Qatar- Qatar’s national coach Felix Sanchez announced his squad line-up for the international friendlies against Ecuador and Uzbekistan, taking place on the 12th and 16th of October.
These two friendlies will serve as preparations for the upcoming 2019 AFC Asian Cup which will take place in United Arab Emirates from the 5th of January until the 1st of February.
The first game will be played against Ecuador at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on the 12th of October, while the second game will be played against Uzbekistan in Tashkent on the 16th of October.
“We are ready to play two matches against Ecuador and Uzbekistan. We have chosen a list of 26 players for these matches. We have picked players who are on form and fit,” Sanchez said during the press conference.
“We are working on our plans to be ready for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. We know we have to have a strong side for that tournament,” the Spaniard added.
“We are aware of the importance of our match against Ecuador, which is a very tough and difficult match. In addition to this, we will also play against Uzbekistan” he added.
