Jakarta, Indonesia- Qatar’s Sarah Masood will compete in women’s Javelin Throw F33 category event, at the ongoing 2018 Asian Para Games, here today.
Masood, a prominent figure in Qatar’s Paralympics team, brought glory to the country claiming a silver medal in 2016 Rio Paralympics Games in Brazil.
Qatar’s Abdurrahman Abdulghader, another prominent member of Team Qatar will be vying for the top honours when he competes in Men’s Javelin Throw F34 category event today.
Under the mantra ‘Unity in Diversity’, the 2018 Asian Para Games are bringing together 3000 athletes with various disabilities from 43 Asian nations, competing in 18 sports events.
