Jakarta, Indonesia- Curtains came down on the prestigious 2018 Asian Para Games, which concluded successfully in Indonesia's capital Jakarta on Saturday.
The Qatari team performed impressively in both Goal Ball and athletics. In the Games' closing ceremony on Saturday, Qatar's Mohammed Hammam was the flag bearer for the country.
Qatar's Sarah Masood earned the country's sole medal - a silver medal in the Women's Shot Put F33.
Qatar delegation to the Games was headed by Mr. Abdulgader Al Motwa, the Assistant Secretary General of Qatar Paralympics Committee.
Under the mantra 'Unity in Diversity', the 2018 Asian Para Games brought together 3000 athletes with various disabilities from 43 Asian nations, to compete in 18 sports events.
