Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was honored as a member of the All-WNBA first team on Wednesday, marking her as the first rookie to receive this distinction in 16 years. Clark joins league MVP A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, and Alyssa Thomas on the first team. Wilson and Collier, who was also named the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year, both received unanimous votes. This recognition marks the sixth first-team selection and seventh overall for Stewart, a two-time league MVP.

The All-WNBA second team includes Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), Kahleah Copper (Phoenix Mercury), Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm), Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings), and Jonquel Jones (Liberty). Clark garnered 52 first-team votes, ranking fourth overall, and also placed fourth in the MVP voting. She is the first rookie to earn a first-team selection since Candace Parker in 2008, with other notable first-team rookies including Sue Bird (2002), Tamika Catchings (2002), and Diana Taurasi (2004).

As the WNBA Rookie of the Year, Clark concluded her inaugural season with averages of 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a league-leading 8.4 assists per game. Stewart, Ionescu, and Jones are all part of the New York Liberty, who are currently in a 1-1 series tie with the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Finals. Collier is the only Lynx player to make either team.

Ionescu was the top vote-getter for the second team, accumulating 204 points, just 51 points behind Thomas of the Connecticut Sun. The teams were chosen by a panel of 67 sportswriters and broadcasters, with voting taking place at the end of the regular season and selections made without positional considerations.
