Buenos Aires, Argentina- Head of Qatar’s sport delegation to Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Argentina, Abdullah Hashim handed over a memorial shield of Qatar Olympic Committee to H.E. Fahad Al Mane, the Qatar Ambassador to Argentina in recognition of the services provided by the Embassy in favour of the country’s sport and administrative delegation.
His Excellency the Ambassador lauded Qatar athletes’ performance at the Youth Olympic Games and wished them good luck in the upcoming sport events.
Qatar participated in the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina’s city capital, with five athletes competing in swimming, equestrian and athletics.
The Qatar Olympic Committee also organised a number of awareness and cultural programmes for the players to increase their knowledge about prevention against injury, anti-doping, media training and life skills.
