Doha, Qatar: Aspetar, the world's leading orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, on Wednesday welcomed the President of the Mauritius Football Association, Mohamed Ali Samir Sobha, and Mauritius's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Azad Dhomun.

The delegation was briefed about the services that the hospital provides for athletes, and received a comprehensive tour of some Aspetar’s facilities, including the rehabilitation and sport performance improvement departments.

During the visit, President of the Mauritius Football Association, Mohamed Ali Samir Sobha, expressed his admiration for Aspetar’s facilities and services, saying: “This is my first visit to Aspetar and – wow – it is a marvelous place for sports medicine. I hope Aspetar keeps growing and becomes the best facility of its kind, if it isn’t already.

“Aspetar and Aspire have the best equipment and facilities in the whole world, including modern equipment designed to treat top athletes. I think any international athlete would benefit from Aspetar for their medical treatment because it is the world’s leading specialised sports medicine hospital.”
