The Qatar Stars League’s (QSL) Extraordinary General Assembly meeting was held yesterday at the St Regis Hotel under the chairmanship of Qatar Football Association (QFA) Board member Ahmed Abdulaziz al-Boenain and a member of Executive Committee of QSL. Jassim al-Rumaihi, Nasser alHitmi, representatives of clubs, Abdulrahman al-Kuwari, representative of the Qatar Players Association, and presidents and representatives of the clubs were present at the assembly, which was also attended by the QSL CEO and media representatives.
The General Assembly started with al-Boenain’s speech, welcoming the attendees and declaring the Extraordinary General Assembly open, in accordance with the Articles of Association. The minutes of the previous meeting held on June 3, 2018, were approved and members were appointed to review the meeting.
The amended regulations were approved by the joint committee formed with the representative of QFA, representatives of football club companies and QSL after the resolution was passed unanimously.
