Al-Duhail Handball Team won the 21st Asian Men's Club League Championship, after defeating Al-Wakrah 22-21 in the final game, held on Monday at Kuwait SC hall.
Both teams in the final game were from Qatar. It was a close game as both sides had many talented players among them, and showed harmony and coherence among their teammates.
Earlier today, Kuwait SC handball team, which lost at the semifinal to Al-Wakrah, was playing for the third place against UAE's Al-Sharjah, who lost at the semifinal to the champions, Al-Duhail.
The game ended with victory of Al-Sharjah 28-27 and secured the third place. Kuwait SC and Al-Sharjah were competing together at the early stage in Group A, while the finalists, Al-Duhail and Al-Wakrah were in Group B.
