On Wednesday, Qatar Swimming Association Organized the closing ceremony of the 2018/2019 sports season which took place at the Hamad Aquatics Complex. The event was attended by Mr. Khaleel Ibrahim Al-Jaber, President of Qatar Swimming Association.
During the ceremony:
Al Sadd SC were crowned Champions in the 2018/2019 Junior Swimming Festival.
In the Water Polo League (Juniors) 2018/2019, Al Ahli took first place and Al Arabi SC came runners up.
In the Water Polo League (Seniors) 2018/2019, Al Gharafa took first place and Al Wakrah SC came in second place.
Al Sadd SC won the 2018/2019 overall excellence award.
The Qatar National Swimming Team were crowned Champions of the 17th GCC Open Water Swimming Championships which were held in Kuwait.
