The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) participated in the 17th edition of the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia from 5 – 10 May 2019.
SportAccord brought together business leaders and key decision-makers from the global sports community. The conference was attended by the IOC President Thomas Bach and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
The QOA delegation included head of the QOA sports development department Dr. Ali Al Bakri and head of the QOA Media and Marketing Department Khalid Al Qahtani.
Speaking during the conference, the UN Secretary General, said “The Future of Big Data and Analytics" among leaders in the sporting world. I hope all participants and colleagues of 2019 SportAccord endeavor to promote sport for development and peace in the world through the SportAccord Summit."
