The Education City have recently joined the global golf network Pacific Links which will allow their members to avail preferred green fee pricing at over 400 courses worldwide in over 40 different countries.

This benefit fits in well with the multinational demographic of the golf club whose members travel frequently to destinations for golf holidays. Likewise, inbound holiday makers who’s golf clubs are part of the network will be able to play Education City Golf Club at preferred rates while holidaying in Qatar.

In addition to this it will allow Education City Golf Club to set up a number of reciprocal golf matches with other Pacific Links member clubs in various countries such as Oman, Asia, Australia, Europe and America.

“This opportunity gives us the opportunity to give value back to our golf club members that have been supportive since we opened in January 2019,” commenting on the this initiative, Education City Golf Clubs, Director of Golf Rhys Beecher said.

“Our members will now have the opportunity to travel globally and save on reduced rates at leading golf courses around the world, while also supporting the Tourism industry in Qatar by promoting the destination worldwide through the growing Pacific Links Network.” This agreement also helps put Qatar on the golf destination map as Education City Golf Club will now become accessible to the Pacific Links member network of over 130,000 golfers globally.

With Qatars global Air travel network Education City Golf Club looks forward to welcoming visiting golfers for a golfing break or just one round of golf when transiting through the global hub.
