Qatar has hosted the Arab Gulf Cup in 1992, 2004, 2014 and has won three Arab Gulf cup titles. Qatar will be hosting this years 24th edition of the Arab Gulf Cup and will be accommodating 5 teams this year. Three countries ace failed to attend the conference that was held on Wednesday 15th of May in the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha, Qatar. The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation General Meeting reestablished Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thai as President, as well as Dr. Jassim Al-Shakaily as Vice President of the Federation. Jassim Al-Rumaihi Secretary General of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation lead the press conference.
