In preparation for their Copa America 2019 campaign, Qatar achieved a 2-1 victory over Brazillian side Madureira in Mangaratiba, Rio de Janeiro, on Sunday.
Following on from a 2-0 defeat in a preparatory international friendly against Brazil on the 5th of June, Qatar came out fighting after the home side took an early lead.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian Copa America hosts handed Honduras a 7-0 defeat.
Copa America 2019 is set to get underway on the 14th of June, with Qatar beginning their campaign on the 16th in a Group B fixture against Paraguay.
Also featuring alongside Qatar and Paraguay in Group B are Colombia and Argentina.
