Qatari hurdler Abderrahaman Samba has withdrawn from Thursday’s Oslo Bislett Games, the fifth leg of the Diamond League this season.
Samba, who opened his 2019 Diamond League season in style with a world leading time of 47.27 seconds to set the men’s 400-meter hurdles meet record in Shanghai, has already sealed a ticket to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
His absence in Oslo will now make way to a duel between Karsten Warholm and Kyron McMaster.
