Former
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has signed a two-year deal with QNB Stars
League side Al-Gharafa, in what will be his first managerial position since
guiding Fulham back into the Premier League in 2018.
Having gained
a strong reputation in English football after assisting Watford’s Premier
League promotion in 2015 and Fulham’s in 2018, the Serb was rumoured to be
replacing Premier League side Chelsea’s manager, Atonio Conte, just last
summer.
Following the
seven-time league winner’s eighth place finish last season under Christian
Gourcuff, Al Gharafa will be hopeful that Jokanovic can guide them back to
their winning ways.
