QATAR WINS ARAB PARACHUTE JUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

The Qatar Special Forces Parachuting team have won the gold medal in the 7th Arab Parachuting Championships held in Morocco over 10 days with around 300 participants representing 12 countries.

The Qatari team included Hamad Al-Marri, Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari, Rashid Al-Kubaisi and Fahd Al-Shammari, who managed to win first place and gold medal, ahead of the Moroccan team who finished in second and third place.

The Qatar team had won the World Parachute Jumping Championship in Australia with the participation of the world's top teams, and won four gold, silver and bronze medals.

HE Major General Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Fetais Al-Marri, Commander of the Joint Special Forces dedicated the achievements of the paratroopers team to the wise leadership and the Qatari people.
