KHALIFA STADIUM SET TO HOST OVER 100,000 FANS FOR FIFA WORLD CUP 2018

@With the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar growing ever closer, Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF), in collaboration with Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy have constructed a fan zone at one of the many stadiums set to host the tournament in four years’ time.

Spectators at Khalifa International Stadium will be able to test-drive the latest in cutting edge technology ahead of 2022, with fully air conditioned outdoor areas and temperatures as low as 19°C. The stadium also boasts sustainable top-of-the-range LED lighting, consuming 4

Welcoming both locals and expatriates, over 20,000 people are expected to turn up for the quarter-finals alone. With three different types of tickets on sale, fans can choose from a variety of options. Standard seating is available, alongside traditional Majlis and VIP Skybox seating, depending on your needs.

As well as the giant LED screen displaying the football, a children’s play zone, food and beverage stalls, and a top prize raffle are all on offer for the public to enjoy.

One fan who has viewed the fan zone extended his appreciation to the organisers, “We want to thank the Supreme Committee for all of their amazing efforts and for this well-equipped facility which they have provided for the public. They have our full thanks and gratitude.”

With the stadium showcasing all of the evening matches from the group stages, and every match thereafter, what better place to relax as a family and keep up to date with the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Tickets are on sale through Q-Tickets website and mobile application, as well as at Khalifa Stadium’s ticket booths, with every ticket purchased granting an automatic entry into the prize raffle.
