QATAR TENNIS TEAM TO TRAIN IN BELGIUM AND FRANCE

The players of Qatar national juniors and grassroots tennis teams headed for Belgium and France yesterday to begin their training camps in preparation for the upcoming events and in light of the summer training program prepared by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation.


The Qatari grassroots under-10 years team and girls under-12 and 16 year-old teams will hold their training camp in Kim Clijsters Academy in Bree, Belgium for two weeks.


The Qatari delegation to Belgium includes Safiya Al Thani, Tamim Fakhro, Nawaf Al Mohannadi, Amna Homoud and Ghanim Al Ghanim and will be accompanied by the coaches Al Mazri bin Hassan and Ahmed Saeed in addition the administrator Salwa Al Hajri.


During their training camp, the Qatari players will play some friendly matches will players from other nationalities to improve their levels before the new sports season.


On the other hand, the Qatar under-12 and under-14 boys team will hold their training camp in Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Nice, France which will end on July 26.


The Qatari national teams will continue their training programs prepared by the federation in cooperation with the Academy which includes fitness and technical training sessions in addition friendly matches.


The Qatari players will also participate in some international tournaments in France to bring together players from different tennis schools.


The Qatari delegation to France is chaired by Ahmed Bati and includes Abdulaziz Al Muftah, Faisal Al Khelaifi, Ghanim Al Sulaiti, Hassan Wali, Nasser al Khelaifi, Nasser al Yafei, Jassim al Thani and the coach Lotfi Al Marnaqui.
