RANGERS' KYLE LAFFERTY ON RADAR OF QATAR AND SAUDI ARABIA TEAMS

RANGERS

Football Scotland

It looks like Kyle Lafferty's time at Ibrox could be up, with the striker heading to the warmer climes of the Middle East.

According to reports, the Rangers striker, who has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Jermain Defoe, is being monitored by clubs in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

If Lafferty did switch to the Middle East, it would be far from his first time outside British football, having played for teams like Swiss side Sion, Italians Palermo and Caykur Rizespor in Turkey.

Lafferty's second period at Rangers came after a season at Hearts where he was on fire, scoring 20 times in 48 appearances.

He failed to maintain that stellar form at Ibrox though, bagging only four goals in 20 appearances before being edged out by the signing of Jermain Defoe in January.

Lafferty wont be the only player heading out of the Ibrox doors this summer after Graham Dorrans has been told his chances of first-team football are limited.
